Vision insurance typically comes in the form of either a vision benefits package or a discount vision plan. These vision benefits or discount plans are not all the same and vary from employer to employer. Some insurances are very helpful and some are sadly not so helpful. When it comes to these insurance plans the insurance company dictates the prices charged for different services and products. Therefore, if you are planning to use vision insurance you want to make sure you go to a vision clinic you trust because the prices will all be very similar if not the same.
